Which type of payment do you accept for check-in?
Guest House Kurenai accepts payment by cash or through PayPal.

What is included in the price of the room?
All our facilities are included in the price of the room and there are no hidden extras.

Do you serve breakfast?
Yes. We offer two kinds of breakfast. You can choose either Bread or Rice.
(500 JPY per person)

What time is breakfast?
Breakfast is from 7.30-8.45am.

ACCESS

What time is the check-in?
Check-in time starts from 12:00 onwards.

What time is the check-out?
Check-out time is before 10:00. In case of late check-out, Guest House Kurenai reserves the right to charge you 50% on the daily room price. You also need to take all your stuff.

Which type of documents do I need for checking-in?
Guest House Kurenai requires a proof of identity (Passport or Identity Card) for all guests. You also need to show the confirmation e-mail.

Can I cancel my reservation at any time, without extra fees?
If you cancel your reservation within 48 hours of the arrival date, you will be charged the amount of the first night. If you cancel your reservation before 48 hours of the arrival date no charge will be applied.

Do you have pet friendly policy?
Guest House Kurenai doesn’t accept pet inside the building. Apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Do you have Internet facilities?
Guest House Kurenai has free WiFi access anywhere inside the building. Please ask for the password at the Reception.

Do you have kettle for making tea and coffee?
Yes, in dining room there is a kettle with tea/coffee bags and milk.

Do you have smoking rooms?
It is permitted to smoke only in dining room.

We are a couple and we are coming to your hotel with our children, can they stay for free?
Yes. We don’t have the limitation of the number of people as long as you use existing beds/futon.

Do you have extra bed/baby cot?
Sorry, Guest House Kurenai doesn’t provide extra beds/baby cots.

Can I leave my luggage at the guest house?
If you arrive earlier than check in time and wish to explore the city on your date of arrival, we will store your luggage in our dining room. This is only possible after 10:00. We take no responsibility for loss or damage to personal property, but will take considerable caution to keep all property safe.

I will be coming to Guest House Kurenai late in the night; will I be able to check-in?
The Reception is open from 7:30 to 22:00. In case of late check-in please inform us in advance via e-mail (CONTACT US)

I’ve missed the first night of a multi night stay- will be booking be cancelled?
If you are not able to make your first night you should contact us as soon as possible. We can then discuss whether you would like us to try to sell the room on your behalf. Unless we sell the room again you will need to pay for your entire stay if you do not cancel the room within the cancellation period.
